While in Stanford in the boiling microcomputer industry at the end of the 70’s, the concept of a multilanguage word processor became the BeeZy project. After Bobst Graphics was stopped, Ricoh became a first customer. Graphical interface was burgeoning hence the need for a mouse. Noticing a strong demand for mice on the Arpanet, Logitech contacted the LAMI at EPFL. After some issues with suppliers, Logitech started to build computer mice first in Apple, VD, then in Taiwan.
